Burt's Story...
Meet Burt! Burt is a 3 1/2 year old hound mix. And take a look at those ears! Saved from a high kill shelter Burt is now available for his forever home. Burt has a wonderful personality. He has lots of love to give. He loves having his hips rubbed and we think he has the beginning of hip problems so he will need to go to a family that would be committed to his long term care. Which will make him a great addition to a family with children. He would however be better in a one dog family. If you would like to have more information on Burt please email us at info@savingcompanionsrescue.com. His adoption fee is $400.00. This includes all his vetting to date. Won't you give these ears a home!?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Burt, a Danbury Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Danbury, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Danbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
