Sula's Story...
I was raised to be around other dogs, and am very slowly coming to realize that all humans are not bad. My foster parents let me play with all my foster brothers and sisters, but I'm still very shy around them. If they move to fast, it scares me, and I will run and hide. I need a special home that is willing to take the time and effort to gain my trust. If my foster dad approaches me slowly, I let him pet me...and I actually like it! My adoption fee is $200 and I'm UTD on all shots and micro-chipped. I think I'm about 3-4 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sula, a Kettle Falls Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Kettle Falls, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Kettle Falls.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kettle Falls already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kettle Falls breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kettle Falls paves the way for another one to be saved.
