I am already spayed and housetrained.

Tai-Tai's Story...
When Tai-Tai was a baby she was rescued from becoming snake food. She was dropped off at a reptile store in Gainesville with her sister, however the owner there does not feed live which we are all very grateful for.

Tai-Tai is a free roamer and does not live in a cage or pen.

** Best in a home without cats or dogs **

Tai-Tai loves to play and get full body massages. She's very athletic and perpetually silly, she has never had a dull day in her life. She loves getting under fluffy quilts and creating tunnels. Her favorite treats are bananas and old fashioned oats, and she'll give you a kiss whenever you want one. Tai-Tai is frisky, funny, smart, and has more personality than anybunny should have!

She is sweet and will make a great addition to your home.

About Gainesville Rabbit Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a nonprofit organization accepting into its protection any rabbit that has been mistreated or abandoned. The organization does not deny shelter because of disability or illness. All rabbits, after being nursed into optimum health by knowledgeable volunteers and—when necessary—local vets, are spayed and neutered before being placed up for adoption. GRR volunteers screen all adopting families to insure these rabbits will be placed in a secure and loving home.
Gainesville Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is not a shelter; it is solely reliant upon the efforts of its volunteers. The rabbits do not live in kennels, but in the loving homes of foster families who see to it that the rabbits are litter box trained, fed and well cared for, with expenses coming more often than not from their own pockets.
Domestic rabbits are less able to save themselves than other companion animals. Classified as both pets and livestock, they are farmed, experimented on, eaten, worn, made into lucky charms; and some are kept as companions. Unfortunately, like other companion animals, they are also discarded by irresponsible owners. Thousands of rabbits are euthanized at animal shelters each year.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Most of our rabbits are in the loving care of foster families, so meetings to view the rabbits can be scheduled by phone or email.
GRR is also found every Sunday of the month at the Petsmart located on Archer Road in Gainesville, FL.

Our Adoption Process...

An adoption application is required and GRR screens all adopting families prior to adoption approval.
Individual rabbits have an adoption fee of $55.00, and bonded pairs have a fee of $100.00.
