Cassie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Cassie's Story...
I am sorry to say I ended up in PAAW because my mom developed allergies during her pregnancy 3+ years ago. She really wanted to keep me so she went on meds daily & the 5-yr shot program, still can't give me the attention I deserve. I am a good cat that just needs a loving home. Let me tell you a little about me...

Purebred Himalayan
I will be 13 in October
Spayed, all 4 paws declawed, indoor cat
Good with the litter box & around kids & dogs.
I am very lovable and want to be petted or I rub up against your feet when you sit down. I am not shy around company & often found lying on the couch, office chair or in a cozy place.
I do seem to have some small lumps around the eyes that I believe are cysts or blocked tear ducts. The vet saw them & was not worried about them. One just drained on itself recently. (Eye draining & the possibility of cysts on the eyelids known to be an occurrence in the Persian & Himalayan breeds).
I am up to date on shots. Last time we visited vet, they suggested to start stretching some of her shots out since she has had them regularly for 12 years & is an indoor cat. Her annual shots would be due this fall ,so that would be up to your vet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassie, a Warren Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Warren, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
