Ludwig's Story...
Meet Ludwig. He is a big teddy bear. He is so sweet, intelligent, and not to mention very handsome. He was abandoned in his backyard when his family moved away. Poor big guy. He must of wondered what he did that was so bad. He is ready for his new beginning and that is one thing that we promised him that he would have. He is in need of a foster home until his forever home comes along.
Here is what his foster mom has to say............ He is a great dog! He is one of the best behaved dogs I've ever been around. He doesn't bark, scratch or chew anything up. He uses the puppy pads when he has to go if I'm not there to take him out. He is affectionate and sweet. He just looks at Andy, my Yorkie, who is rude to him -- barking at him, but Ludwig doesn't lunge at him. He sniffs at the cats once in awhile on the way in and out of the house, but has not been aggressive to them.

All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date with shots and micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ludwig, a Folsom Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Folsom, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Folsom.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Folsom already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Folsom breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Folsom paves the way for another one to be saved.
