My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a fabulous Jindo! Samantha is a rare find in the Jindo world and whoever adopts her will be very lucky. She’s a cute, sweet, loving, appreciative girl who loves to play, give kisses and even hugs. Samantha is a very well balanced girl and is living well in a pack of 5 dogs: 3 Jindos, a Chow Mix and a Husky/Malamute mix. Samantha truly enjoys being part of the pack but is sad that none of her foster pack members want to play with her. She keeps trying though. Samantha is very young, most likely under 2 years old and has a lot of energy. However, she’s content to nap when it is time to do so. She listens well, knows sit and down and is crate trained. It goes without saying that she’s perfectly house trained. Samantha has no issues with handling or going to the vet, a rare trait in a Jindo. She’s an excellent guard dog but is gentle enough to be a good family dog. She was briefly exposed to cats and although she loves to chase them outside, we suspect that she could live with indoor cats with training. Samantha’s favorite game is fetch and she LOVES to play with tennis balls. She goes on 4 walks a day and has learned to walk well on a leash. Samantha is just an absolute sweetheart and has been a joy to foster.

Jindos are a rare breed from Korea and researching the breed is highly recommended. Experience with Akitas, Shiba Inus, Sharpei, Chows, Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, American Eskimos and a similar Spitz breed is preferred.

Knowledge of the Nothing in Life is Free theory and/or Cesar Millan’s methods are essential for a successful adoption. If you are interested in adopting Miracle, please visit www.treasuredk9s.org submit an adoption application.
