FANNIE FOXE's Story...
Fannie Foxe is an 18 mo old, broken coat. female Jack Russell Terrier. AZJRR rescued her, along with 10 other adults & 5 puppies from a Missouri puppymill that closed. She is a very sweet girl, very shy, still learning to trust people, & how to be a JACK RUSSELL TERRIER. She will require someone with lots of patience, to work on housetraining, walking on a leash, & adjusting to all the strange sights & sounds that frighten most puppymill dogs. Taking on a mill dog requires an experienced dog person, with the understanding that it may/will take months to see even small changes. If you are up for the challenge, this beautiful little JRT is waiting for you! Fannie's $200 adoption fee includes spay, current vaccinations, heartworm & fecal tests, & a microchip ID.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FANNIE FOXE, a Phoenix Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
