Luna's Story...
Luna was rescued from the Baldwin Park crowded shelter. She was extremely lucky as her time was running out. Now she is happy, comfortable, and safe in her new foster home and likes to put on her goofy grin. she loves to be with people, she is kind to others, and friendly. Luna is about 2 years old and weighs 19lbs. Luna is best suited for a home where someone is around a lot to keep her company as her connection to humans is very important. She is almost fully housebroken thanks to her diligent foster parents and is learning basic commands. To learn more about Luna, please visit our website at www.dogswithoutborders.org for an online adoption application and we would be glad to introduce her to you in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Encino Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
