Ashes & Clover's Story...
Ashes & Clover

Ashes and Clover are a sweet pair that enjoy alot of attention.  These two have led a hard life and deserve a home that will provide them with plenty of love.  Ashes & Clover are a bonded pair, and must be adopted together.

Ashes is the grey bunny and Clover is the chocolate brown rex.  These two were kept in a hutch outside with minimal interaction before coming to GLRS.  Poor Clover had such severe sore hocks from living on a wire-bottom cage that it took many months to clear up the infections.  Due to this, his feet are a little deformed, but he has fully recovered.

Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $125.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashes & Clover, a Whittaker Rex was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rex for sale in Whittaker, or seeking a Rex from a breeder in Whittaker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whittaker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whittaker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rex breeders who help with Rex rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whittaker paves the way for another one to be saved.
