Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet Marlo is a good girl looking for a kind person with a heart big enough to love an older grandma dog. She is very nice and easy going and if you are looking for a dog who is 'no trouble', Marlo would be perfect. She loves to go for a short walk (slow enough that she can smell every squirrel who has crossed the path in the last hour). She also loves to ride in the car (although she promptly cuddles up and snoozes in the car after busting a move to make sure she goes. Who doesn't like to snooze in the car I guess?). She likes to have a good sniff outside (jowls like two bellows or the wings of stingrays billowing in and out to catch all the good smells) but enjoys hanging out in the house with her humans. She spends a good portion of her day snoozing on her soft pillow. Her one funny time is when she serenades the chicken out of the oven that has been set on the counter. She will bawl and bawl, quite positive that she has that chicken treed, but good. Marlo is probably over ten years old, spayed, , vaccinated, healthy and on heartworm preventative. She is a real mellow girl but she is shy at first, very slow to warm up; her first eight years of life did not include much exposure to nice people. She is figuring out all the good things about people and life in general. Marlo is quite tolerant of other dogs. Contact April at waltwarchol@kingwoodcable.com to find out more about her. She is well suited to being a companion dog for an older dog as she enjoys hanging out with her buddies or will enjoy being a quiet dog for a human. Marlo is house trained, an absolutely lovable dog. If interested please write me with information about your family, home, pets and kids and we will figure out together if she might be the right dog for you. If you would like to do a truly good deed in life, adopting an older dog to live out the rest of their life in comfort certainly tops the list!
