My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am female Chihuahua mix. I am about 3 years old. I am spayed, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea preventative. My adoption is $200.

I was brought here with my puppies from a high kill shelter in Alabama!! I was heartworm positive and was going to be put to sleep. It is a good thing that A New Beginning was able to rescue me. My puppies have all been adopted, now it is hopefully my turn!!

I have already been treated and have gone through the recovery period. I just need to stay on heartworm preventative and be retested after 6 months from the date of treatment. It is rare that the test would still be positive, but if so, A New Beginning would treat me again for free.
