Coco is brindle and white and weighs nearly 4 pounds. Perky ears make her look more outgoing than her true, somewhat shy, personality. She follows her caregiver around and will bond very easily to her newly adopted family. She is very playful and likes to be carried and cuddled. Coco is being paper trained and learning to walk on leash. She'll probably be mid-sized when fully grown (40 - 50 pounds). She was born into a litter of 3 adorable pups.
All ARRF adoptees will have up-to-date shots, be microchipped, and will have been spay/neutered when they become adoptable. Generally speaking, puppies should be good with gentle children, dogs, and cats. Of course, all puppies will need to be housetrained.
Puppies obviously need a bit of attention, so prospective adopters should have someone either at home during the day or able to make frequent visits during the day. Adopters must agree to go to positive reinforcement classes to make sure that these youngsters can "be all that they can be." In addition to the adoption fee, ARRF will collect a $50 deposit that is refundable upon proof of class attendance within 6 months of adoption.
