Tinkerbelle's Story...
Tinkerbelle is just the sweetest little tiny girl. She weighs a whopping 7 pounds and is a very quiet little girl. She does play occasionally with the little blind Chihuahua that is the same size as she is. She does act like she has been mistreated. Everytime you reach down to pick her up she lays down like she is going to get in trouble. Poor little girl. Her teeth were in horrible shape so we had that taken care of and she had to have several pulled. Tinkerbelle just wants someone to love her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tinkerbelle, a Columbus Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
