Sonny's Story...
Young & silly; handsome & tiny; portable & yummy....there are too many fun ways to describe our pup Sonny. This little guy was abandoned in a shopping cart with his mom, when he was recently rescued. That's surely no way to start out in life. But now that Sonny is with Forte Animal Rescue, his life is ready to begin a new. The only remaining question is, will it be with YOU?

If you are interested in meeting Sonny, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and other available dogs at our Saturday Adoptions at Centinela Feed.

[Sonny is 4 months old and about 10 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny, a Marina del Rey Chihuahua/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Border Collie for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Chihuahua/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Border Collie breeders who help with Chihuahua/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
