Suzie's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Black (All) | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Female | Hair: | Short |
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
DOB May 2, 2011. Suzie is completely black with a small white patch of white fur on her neck. Her background story begins in a shelter that kept her locked up in a confined space until one of our amazing rescuers got her out!
She does well with children, however she does not like other cats or dogs in the household. She loves lots of attention and needs to play a lot with feathers, balls, mice or string toys. She does have a tendency to bite occasionally when she is picked up and not held properly, and if no one is playing with her. She needs someone to play with and give her a lot of attention! Suzie may bite sometimes, but she can also be very affectionate - she loves so sleep on top of stomachs, take afternoon naps with people and gives kisses! However, she loves to sleep on a made bed, if the sheets are disorganized she won't take a nap on it! She will also eat absolutely anything and is not picky! Suzie loves also to be brushed and sleep in bathroom sinks (not kitchen sinks) and when you get up in the morning she will be right there with you whiles brushing your teeth, so that she can get a quick drink of water before the day starts! She loves to play her own version of fetch, however she doesn't bring the ball or toy back, and when the doorbell rings she runs towards the doors and is ready to see who is outside. Besides fetch, she likes to play peek-a-boo as well and play upside down on staircases! Suzie is most active early in the day and later in the night, with the occasional play time during the day.
She does well by herself, but also does well with a group of people, because she is not a shy cat! She may have a tendency to bite, but she does have her moments where she is truly affectionate and loving. This tough little kitty needs a forever loving home! Are you ready to play with a dog-like cat that will great you at your door every time you return home? Suzie is your gal!

Rescue Group Info...
Toronto Cat Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, 100% volunteer group. TCR helps find homes for homeless, abandoned, sick or injured cats, as well as helps cats escape situations of abuse, neglect, or imminent euthanasia. TCR relies on volunteers to foster cats in their homes until a cat lover comes along to adopt them, so we know the cats personalities in a home setting! TCR saves cats from Toronto, GTA & Kitchener area.
Decided on the kitty you would like to adopt? Please call the TCR Hotline - 416-538-8592 (press 1 for adoptions and leave a message) or email: tcr.adoptions@gmail.com for a pre-adoption interview.
An adoption coordinator will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.
Next you will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your kitty home with you (in a safe carrying case).
Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It also includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
