Harvey's Story...
Harvey is a lover...He was pulled from a shelter that scheduled him to be put down. He has definitely been a family dog! He is house broken, goes up and down steps, sits on command, plays with toys, leash walks very well, great with cats, other dogs and children, crate trained and is not a constant barker. He is the PERFECT dog! What more could you ask for! He is 32 lbs around 2 yrs old and a great size for small children! He is not really high energy, but does enjoy a good romp! Please open your heart and home to him, this dog deserves a second chance at a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harvey, a Cincinnati Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
