FOSTER HOME OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED ASAP.

Bohdi is a 1.5 year old male Great Pyrenees who got a bad start in life and was never socialized as a puppy. Therefore he lacks confidence in unfamiliar situations and is reserved with men that he does not know. However, he really takes to women and children, and does warm up to men eventually. Bohdi is very smart and affectionate with his people and prefers to be with them, not outside by himself. Bohdi would be happiest in a home with another dog of any breed. He is currently being boarded in a home with a Basenji. Another dog gives him confidence and will help him socially. Obedience training would also benefit Bohdi. He is learning to walk on a leash and knows sit, down and come-especially for treats! He respects fencing and gates and does not get up on furniture. Bohdi is also good with cats. Bohdi is a tall Pyr and too thin at this time. He does need to gain about 20lbs.

Bohdi is house trained, up to date on shots, neutered, heart worm negative, microchipped and in excellent health.

An adoption application, site visit, secure visible fencing, and an adoption fee are required to adopt Bohdi.
