Thornton's Story...
Thornton is a five month old spunky, but loving kitty. He is curious, energetic and loves to play. He is a polydactyl kitty with extra toes on his adorable feet! He has sleek black fur, and also has round, golden eyes that gives him an endearingly quizzical face. He loves being petted by people and playing with his kitty friends. Thornton will be happiest in a house with other cats. He gets along with kids, and possibly with respectful dogs.

Thornton passed his vet check, is neutered, up to date on his shots, and microchipped. He is being housed with his friends at the Petsmart Adoption Center in Cambridge. If you are interested in giving Thornton a forever home, please come meet him and fill out an application at www.brokentailrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thornton, a Worcester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
