Tiny Amaryllis was found with her siblings in a box by the side of the road in Pinebluff when they were 3 weeks old. Amaryllis was the runt and weighed almost nothing. We were very concerned she wouldn't make it. Amaryllis and her siblings are in foster care and she is thriving! She is still the tiniest one and thinks the world revolves around her, but she is so dear that her foster mom does give her anything she wants (within reason!). Don't be fooled by her though-she can hold her own with her 2 brothers and her sister when they play. Amaryllis and her siblings will be available for adopting after August 5th.Animal Advocates of Moore County is committed to all aspects of animal welfare including spay/neuter, animal cruelty and animal rescue accompanied by community education and diligence toward humane legislation. We promote compassion and protection for all animals. Animal Advocates is at Petsense 2414 Horner Blvd in Sanford NC with adoptable dogs every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract. Adoptions fees for dogs is $65 which includes spay/neuter, deworming and a one year rabies shot.
