Buster is located in Charlotte, NC.
To pursue the adoption of Buster, you must first complete an Adoption Application which is located under the Online Forms tab at www.NCYorkieRescue.org.
Buster Boy is just an adorable one year old, seven pound bundle of joy! Just the sweet little eyes give away his bubbly personality! He is just like a shadow, following us everywhere, inside or outside, just wanting to be a companion.
Because Buster was found by animal control, not much is known about his background; however, it is evident he was loved and cherished by his first family. The crate is not his favorite place to be- it is the bed, snuggling on the pillow, giving kisses as if to say "Thank you!". He gets along well with our other Yorkies and Golden Retrievers and even the cats. Buster loves all of the human visitors, but a family with children older than eight is a must (as with all of our little rescues). Basically, he is house trained, but a keen eye and a lot of vigilance are still required. When he begins to pace, it is time to go outside.
Another requirement for Buster is a fenced yard. He spends a lot of time exploring, looking for squirrels, and sunbathing when it is not too hot. However, he prefers to have his human parent outside with him. He seems to have a little separation anxiety, so someone needs to be home with him most of the day.
Buster is a very special rescue and needs a Forever Home that will cherish him as much as he will cherish each member of the family. He will make a devoted companion!
We do not make money on the yorkies we adopt to new families, we use whatever remaining money we have to help other yorkies in need. NC Yorkie Rescue, Inc. is a small group of dedicated and sincere yorkie lovers. We take all yorkies, regardless of age or health issues. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit rescue group. A home visit may be performed before the adoption is approved and an adoption application must be submitted and approved as well. All of our yorkies come with complimentary training sessions, either by a personal visit to the office or a telephone consultation, to help their transition into their new home.
