Squirt is an affectionate and gentle 9-year-old female who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. So far, her food was changed to Purina D/M but she currently is not on insulin shots. She needs to find a home where someone has the ability to give her the proper care to regulate and manage the diabetes.



Squirt can be shy, and will often hover at your feet until you pick her up and place her on your lap. Then she loves to be petted and is a very vocal purrer! She loves to be brushed and has very soft hair. At night she likes to curl up in bed, especially during the winter.



Squirt currently has a younger brother and does fine with other cats, but has never lived with a dog. While she is happy at her current home, her "mother" is not able to provide the medical care she needs at this time and knows it is best to find a new home.
