My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus has lost his home of the past 8 years and needs a place to go that will love the wonderful dog that he is. PERFECT house dog and very pretty as you can see. Altered and current on shots... acts every bit of 5-6 so he does not know his age!!

From his former home:
Gus loves to go for walks, is really good on a leash or will run beside a bike like a pro. I have worked with him for years. He pretty much leaves other dogs alone unless they get to close and threaten him. He's very protective and an awesome watchdog. I have never worried about anyone trying to break in with him here. He is not hyper at all but really laid back. He stays in the house, except when we are outside, then he wants to be with us. His health is excellent, just saw the vet last week for a yearly checkup. Teeth need re-cleaning which we've had done every year or two. He's been fed dry food always so no rotted out teeth. We give occasional treats which he loves dearly. He weighs about 70 lbs, is in great health and very active. His only issues are cats and younger children.. older ones would be fine! Please consider Gus for your home OR foster Gus to save him from a deep dark depression from losing his home and all he loves.
