My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Diddy is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing him as a courtesy for his owners. Diddy's owners are visiting Michigan until August 5th and we hope to find him a new home by the time they leave. Otherwise, he will go back to Indiana with them but still be available for adoption. If you are interested, read below but please apply soon, while he is here in Michigan.


Diddy is a 4-year-old male Pomeranian. His vaccinations are now expiring and will need to be updated. He is on monthly heartworm preventative. He is fine around female dogs and ok with some male dogs but not all. He weighs approximately 15 pounds. A neuter deposit of $100 will be required at the time of adoption and will be refunded after Diddy is neutered within 30 days of the adoption. Diddy must go to a home with no children. He is a wonderful dog but just too tiny and children are too rough. He is housetrained.


Note: We are an all volunteer organization and will not respond to brief e-mail requests for more information about a dog. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required. Also, a fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and invisible fences are NOT acceptable.


All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm tested, on heartworm preventative year-round, and microchipped for identification.
