Dutchess's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dutchess's Story...
I playfully call Duchess my pocket Lab. She is black lab/terrier mix. She is 28 lbs and compact so she is the perfect small dog with a big dog personality. She's happy to walk and play and very content to curl up on your lap as well. She is great with other dogs in the house and with cats too. She absolutely adores children. Duchess would be great for almost any family. She's a country girl who also loves her life in the city. She is house broken, trained to sit and shake on command and she likes to play fetch as well. A great girl who has lots of labby love to give. She will make an excellent addition to your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutchess, a Naugatuck Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Naugatuck, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Naugatuck.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naugatuck already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naugatuck breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naugatuck paves the way for another one to be saved.
