My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin is an 8 year old, Female Orange Marmalade Cat. She was relinquished to us in December of 2009 when her owner was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Always spoiled with love, she had the life any cat would only dream of until the dementia set in. Soon after Pumpkin was no longer being consistently fed and cared for. Pumpkin is a loving, sweet, gentle kitty, who needs home with no other cats or dogs. She came to us declawed. Pumpkin has been around children for her entire life and has always been gentle. This girl has had rough couple of years and really deserves a chance in a nice home.

ADOPTION PROCESS: All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html.
Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times. The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
