Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sully – This boy is an extremely awesome 1 ½ to 2 year old black (what we believe to be) Scottish Deer Hound. He weighs about 60 lbs and is tall and slender. Sully was found in a corner kennel at a local kill shelter where he went unnoticed. Lucky Lab was there picking up a lab and our volunteer spotted this boy and it was ‘love at first sight’. He was to be euthanized the next day and that was just not going to happen. Not this time. Sully is tall, with long slender legs, a nub for a tail, cute little whiskers under his chin and beautiful warm brown eyes that will melt your heart. He is your all around good boy who loves people. He is now in a foster home with several other canine foster siblings and is very well behaved. Sully likes to run in the yard and settles down nicely in the house, and wants to be close to his foster mom and get hugs, which he gets a lot of because his foster mom thinks he is the best. He likes to lie on the floor close to her and help with the dishes, dusting, watching TV. He would be a great companion for any family, as he has been well socialized with men, women and children. Sully would make a great hiking and walking companion and we are sure he would love to go for a romp on the beach. He would not be good with kitties though as he is way too interested in them.
Sully is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines including rabies, and micro-chipped. He is also on flea and tick preventative and heartworm preventative. Sully is also crate trained. If you are interested in learning more about this really great boy, please indicate Sully in the notes section of the online application
