Hogan's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Hogan's Story...
Hogan is a 12lb shihtzu who is about 1yr old. He is a happy little man who loves to play - especially with tennis balls. He loves to run around and play chase too! He adores everyone including kids! He will sit in ANYONE's lap! He came into our rescue severely matted and had to be shaved down. I'm sure he feels so much better now! He is a dog that will need consistent grooming. He will make any family very happy!

Hogan is housebroken, has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. An adoption applicaiton is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. For most dogs in the rescue, breeds stated in posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue. The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com and can be emailed to Molly at Hallamart@sbcglobal.net. The adoption fee for Hogan of $275 covers all vetting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hogan, a Plainfield Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
