My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh Miss Hannah! This gal was super shy when we first pulled took her out of
her cage at Chicago Animal Care and Control. She paced and watched us
curiously, but was so intimidated by her environment at the shelter that
she would not even give us a tail wag. It was obvious that she had had a
litter or more too. But those big beautiful eyes had us the get go and
our intake directors decided to take a chance that she would open up with
a little TLC.

And open up she did! Once she felt like she was in a more comfortable
environment, it was like watching a flower blossom. She went from our
vet’s office into open daycare-where all the staff (and all the dogs!)
fell in love with her gentle nature. Hannah is very considerate of others
and plays well. This could be because she has been a momma or just because
it’s who she is. For example, she is still learning manners and will
occasionally try to put her paws on your chest-but she does it gingerly-as
if she is making sure not to lean all her weight on you. She is now in a
foster home, kicking it with former NLOL alum Fry (posing In the fourth picture with her)!

Her foster mom had this to say-

“Hannah is such a sweet dog! She loves to
cuddle and be pet - she never refuses a good belly rub! She loves to give
kisses and is always happy to see people - that wagging tail can't lie!
She loves following people around and knowing what they're up to. She
makes a great companion!

She is still a little timid, but she is opening up and
getting more comfortable every day. We're working on getting her to sit
and lay down, and she is responding pretty well!

All in all, Hannah is a very sweet, loving girl who would make a great
companion for life! Check out NLOL's
