Hannah's Story...
Hi, my name is Hannah. I really am quite a likable girl. Friendly and
happy, I greet the day with a wagging tail. I am a smart girl and
eager to please. I am wonderful with children , I love to play with
other dogs and I am good with cats but I am still a German Shepherd so remember that we are natural protectors. I like to play and have a good
time but I know when its time to settle down too, I like to lounge
around like the rest of you! I am already housebroken and crate
trained even. I do know some basics but some more training would
never hurt- I want to protect my family so someone who understands this breed trait will be best for me. Does this beautiful lady sound perfect for you or what? 1 year old-47lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; current shots,
spay, microchip, 1 month pet health
insurance, 5 week training class, free veterinary exam (SE
Portland/Milwaukie area only), leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hannah, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
