Sam's Story...
Sam is a 10 week old Lab mix puppy (possibly with Irish Setter). We aren't quite sure what he is mixed with, but we think he will be a medium sized dog. Sam was rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia. He is a very sweet and loving boy! He loves to run and play outside with his sister. He is great with kids and other dogs! Sam is paper trained and crate trained. He is up-to-date on vaccines and has been dewormed. Sam's adoption fee is $225 and it will include his 2nd and 3rd round of puppy shots when they are due. We do same day adoptions. If you would like to adopt Sam or his sister, call 717-855-8975, they are located in Glen Rock, PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Bel Air Labrador Retriever/Irish Setter puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Irish Setter for sale in Bel Air, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Irish Setter puppy from a breeder in Bel Air.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bel Air already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bel Air breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Irish Setter breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Irish Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bel Air paves the way for another one to be saved.
