Cody's Story...
Cody is a gorgeous 5 year old husky/lab mix. He and his litter-mate, Lucas, have spent their lives together. Due to unforseen circumstances, the family must give up these wonderful pets. They will do well as inside or outside pets - both is preferred. They have a lot of energy and need a large yard so they can run and play. Cody and Lucas are both loving, playful dogs who need to go to a home where they can be together. Cody (and Lucas) will remain with their current owners while we search for a great home. The family is willing to send many necessities with the new family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Cleveland Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
