ABUSED, LIVING ON THE END OF A METAL CHAIN AT A USED CAR LOT !!!!!!!
Come on people - LuLu needs a home, she is doing sssoooo well !!!!
LuLu- was rescued from life on the end of a CHAIN !!!!!!
Abused, neglected and starved this beautiful, funny, loving girl was living AND dying on the end of a 4 foot metal chain.
She is now fully vetted, spayed and learning to play and trust. She has so much love to share. PLEASE, PLEASE consider giving this special girl a home of his own !!!!
I was at a used car lot - and there were 2 medium sized, unremarkable looking ,normal, friendly dogs, not pure-breeds or anything - just fun loving, sweet dogs...CHAINED TO A POST.
No food, no water, filthy and underweight with sores and open wounds. They have been burned and LuLu had some growths on her legs and feet. The male carried a bundt cake pan around in his mouth everywhere. Broke my heart !
All they wanted was to be able to reach people....but the chains were too Short.
When I asked who owned the dogs I was told that it was the owner of the car lot, of course he was not there. When I pressed further I was told that the owner has been looking to "get rid" of the dogs, they were looking to just take the dogs somewhere to be put down. Okay, I don't think so. I convinced them to call their boss and request that he relinquish both dogs to me.
So here I have 2 medium size dogs, a Terrier mix - LuLu and a Yellow Lab mix - Stinker Bug, both need spay/neuter. Both with health issues. But we can fix all that !
But neither live on the end of a chain anymore.
LuLu is fully vetted, was spayed and is now current on all shots. She is low heartworm positive and we are treating her.
LuLu is 2-3 years old and her body has scars that come along with living on the end of a chain - but her spirit is pure joy. She runs and plays and deserves a safe, loving home and family. She is house broken and crate trained.
She is learning how to play and smile, she loves her stuffed toys but is not destructive.
And all she wants is LOVE.
