I love my new name; Senay. It’s so pretty, just like me! I’m about 1 year old and I’m a Basenji mix. I never knew I was a Basenji mix until I heard several people refer to me as one. I decided to google the breed and sure enough, I must be a Basenji mix! You look a little surprised. Is it the whole ‘google’ thing? You’d be surprised what dogs are capable of doing when people are not around! I am very smart and capable of learning anything, because I’m equally eager to please. Because I am so smart, my energy level is pretty high. I am able to escape from places that are not secure. Basenjis originated in Central Africa, where we were bred for hunting small animals, so I probably would not do well in a home with gerbils, hamsters, birds or ferrets. I am perfect for obedience training, Rally, Agility and Frisbee training. I would love to be your new Jogging, running or walking partner. I am being socialized with other dogs my size and larger and getting along well with everyone. It is important to keep me well socialized so I will be at my best if I am not the only dog in the family. Children are ok too, but they should not be too young. My pictures aren’t very good because I find it difficult to sit still. I am much prettier in person. I have one blue eye and one brown. My markings and coloring are striking and then there’s my tail. It curls in a most glorious way! I am affectionate and sweet and I love to be cuddled. Snatch me up soon so that you can train me to be the very best doggie I can be!
SUGGESTED ADOPTION DONATION IS $150
