Leon's Story...
Hi all, Li Li here - but my foster family calls me Leon... Im a little too manly for "Li Li" right now HA HA. I am a 6 year old male (born 11/15/07) approx 8 lbs. I am cream and white smooth coat and I am a retired breeder. I am a bit shy but once I warm up to you, I like to be held, give kisses and have my head scratched! I have learned to walk on the leash like a good boy and I ride in the car like a little trooper. I sleep in a crate at night and I like to hang out in there too. It is my safe spot! I love to play with toys and other dogs my size. I am fixed, up-to-date on vaccines and micro-chipped. Please email Jo Ann ( for information on how to adopt Leon or visit

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leon, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
