Dodge (aka Dodge or Dodges / Ponda's Dodgem) is a 2 year old fawn male. It is TBD if he is cat tolerant
Dodgem (aka Dodge or Dodges) is a soft, super-sweet boy who has brought great joy to his foster family! In fact, his foster Granny was overheard telling a friend that he is a "congenial" hound. Sadly, his foster mom had to Google that to find out that it means "of a pleasant disposition; friendly and sociable" (thanks dictionary.com!). Good thing the houndies don't use such big words! :)
Anyway, it's been wonderful to watch Dodge explore and learn about living in a home. Mirrors and glass doors were once a mystery to him --- after hitting his head a few times, he now knows that the room doesn't continue through the mirror and that the shower door rattles when you whack it. He loves the attention and if his foster family stops petting before he thinks it's enough, he will shoot that "love me" look with his big brown eyes! He's great with the kids (even the neighbor's six kids didn't overwhelm him), gets along great with the two Greys that already live in his foster home and loves, loves, loves the Nylabones and stuffies that float around the house. His favorite chew toy is a ball, which he will chase endlessly when someone will play fetch with him. This game has earned him the nickname "Dodgeball" .
Dodge has a very unique tail (like a ring-tailed lemur) and a black muzzle/beard. The black mixed with the red makes for a striking appearance. This precious young hound will steal your heart! Adopt him and let him bring joy to your home!
