Simon's Story...
Simon is one of the nurse mare foals. You can read more about them here. He's the smaller colt of the bunch with a nice flashy blaze. He's a rowdy guy in the pasture playing with his buddies but is quite sweet to be around. He can go to his forever home when he's 6 months old in September 2011 but we would like to get his adoptive home approved and ready to go ASAP. His adoption fee is $500.

Keep up to date on Simon's updates page.

Adopters must be 21 or older, if you are under 18, please have a parent contact us as our adoption agreement is a legal agreement which must be made with an adult. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simon, a Dewey Quarterhorse was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Quarterhorse for sale in Dewey, or seeking a Quarterhorse from a breeder in Dewey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dewey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dewey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Quarterhorse breeders who help with Quarterhorse rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dewey paves the way for another one to be saved.
