Nitro is a 4 1/2 year old Male S.I. Eclectus. He is in perfect feather and received a clean bill of health from the vet. Like all Eclectus' he loves to eat! He likes pretty much all fruits and veggies, pasta, cheese, but corn on the cob is his favorite. He is eating seed mixture as well. He loves everyone, kids included, catsand dogs, but LOVES men. He can get very loud at times. He does say some words, "Im a good boy", "Hello" and he calls out the name "Connor" and says his own name. He will also call for you if he doesn't see you in the room. He would be good for a calm home as a lot of action seems to frighten him, as is the case with most Eclectus. Eclectus do require a bit of a different diet that most parrots and you must be prepared to cook for this guy, just pellets with some fruits and veggies won't cover it for this species!
