Abby is a twelve year DNA sexed female blue and gold macaw. She is a healthy, well mannered bird, but she did come in with a slight feather picking habit. However, in the short time she’s been in the rescue she has already been allowing new feathers to grow back and will likely be fully feathered soon. Abby is a little shy around new surroundings and new birds, but is very gentle and sweet. She is an affectionate and cuddly macaw that will make her new family very happy. She’s a real treasure and deserves the very best in a forever home!
