Tiger's Story...
Tiger is one of seven lovely kittens and a momma cat turned over to UP by an owner who had no use for them and threatened them harm. Failure to spay and neuter results in thousands of kittens being born, with no homes. United Paws strives hard to foster and adopt out innocent cats and kittens who find their way to UP. All these kittens are about 8 weeks old. Thanks to their protective “Fabulous Mom” these are happy, contented and playful little kittens who have a lot of love to give to a family. Mom came into program very thin and tired, but she is starting to fill out with lots of care and food. They have been vaccinated and will be spayed prior to adoption or will come with spay/neuter certificate. They are all ready and waiting for someone to give them the chance they deserve for a happy home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Tillamook Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tillamook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tillamook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillamook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillamook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillamook paves the way for another one to be saved.
