This is Micki. She was 7 pounds upon arrival to us on August 7th. Micki was removed from a kill shelter on August 5th. She has adorable markings! She is brown with a black brushed look to some of her fur. She has beautiful white markings on her face, chest and paws. Micki is a sweet little girl who is fostered with a sibling. She is getting settled into her foster home. As we get to know her better, we will update this description. UPDATE: Micki is curious and cuddly. She’s a sweet puppy who likes to investigate her surroundings but then is very content to sit on your lap or nuzzle against your chest. She was worn out from all the activities this morning and so she took a nap as soon as she was set on her new bed. Once awake, she played with Misty, her sibling, and ate. She is now playing with a few toys just like her sister and seems to be adapting well. She is a sweetheart!
UPDATE:Micki has become very playful, favoring a small crinkle toy. She loves to run around chasing balls and toys. She also likes to go on a walk but enjoyed laying in the grass as much as the walk. Micki likes an even distribution of play and snuggle time. She enjoys being held and pushing her sweet little face under your chin. She doesn't pay much attention to the family cats and dog but enjoys meeting new people. If you are interested in adopting Micki, please complete and submit an application for adoption.
This animal is currently fostered in a private home. Our rescue is 100% foster home based. We do not have a shelter or kennel. They are cared for by a loving family until adopted. Each pup has had their first vet exam, a shot, and de-worming, etc We make sure they have no fleas prior to going into our foster homes. They are fostered out of the shelter at least two weeks or more prior to adopting to monitor health. We take their care seriously!
Please note that the adoption event will take place on the evening of August 5th or morning of the 6th.. After your application is approved, we will contact you and arrange for you to meet the dog on that date. Once adopted, feel free to change the dog's name. You do not have to keep the name listed in this post.

IF YOU ADOPT a pup and live in the State of New Jersey we do have low cost spaying and neutering at very affordable prices. Kindly inquire upon an approved application. We also have an affordable program for out of state adopters.
We also offer low cost micro-chipping! For a low fee of only 20.00 we will have your dog microchipped. You will be able to register the microchip for a low cost fee of only 10.99 at the time of the adoption appointment. The 10.99 fee is a ONE time registration fee. The microchip is for the lifetime of the dog. You have the ability to update the contact information at NO cost. You will also have a one year membership to Home Again. This is a big savings for you.
***** If you're interested in fostering we could always use the help to save more animals. A crate, food, and medical care are provided. The animals are picked up in West Milford, NJ and brought back here for adoption. The time commitment is two to two and a half weeks.
