Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tara. She's a petite, purebred Cocker Spaniel and about 3 years old and weighs only about 15 pounds. This sweet girl was most likely the victim of living the life of breeding by a backyard breeder. She was severely neglected and had mats so bad on her leg they were cutting off the circulation to her foot. Lucky for this little girl, the shelter decided to get her cleaned up and into rescue. Friends of Retrievers is glad they are able to help sweet Tara find her new FORever home where she will be loved and well-cared for the rest of her days. Tara doesn't care for small dogs or cats – but loves big dogs. Because of her breed, we do not recommend she go to a home with small children. Tara is loyal and loving; she adores her foster mom and would make a wonderful companion. If you are interested in spoiling sweet Tara for many years to come – please email us at forrescueal@gmail.com for an application today.
*** Tara is located in ALABAMA - but can be transported to your area. Adoption fee is $450 and includes transport costs, rabies, distemper/parvo, bordatella, spay/neuter, and microchip. All of our dogs are current on heartworm and flea prevention. Please email us for more information or any questions you might have. ****
