My story

MJ is a delightful Labrador Retriever mix and is one year old. She was found abandoned by a young couple and though they adored her, she was too active for their small apartment.

She is such a sweetheart! MJ has a happy-go-lucky personality that makes her a shelter favorite. A dog trainer told us MJ was one of the brightest dogs he had ever worked with! She is an energetic dog with an enthusiasm for each new day. MJ enjoys long walks and loves the play yard, where she is a champion ball player and enjoys games of fetch. She is an affectionate and loving dog who enjoys being petted and cuddled. MJ loves everyone, but would do best in a home without small children due to her activity level. MJ is great with other dogs. She tried to chase the cats we introduced her to and wanted to play with them. MJ will be such a fun and loyal family companion!

Like many of our adoptable cuties, MJ is with a partner shelter rescue or shelter in the south. In order to bring her north, we need a loving indoor foster home to care for this sweetie while she waits for her forever home.
