Fifi's Story...
"G'day! I'm Fifi, a beautiful young lady (about 3 years old as of january 2007).My fur pattern is called Tortie - it's pretty, isn't it? I lived as a feral for quite a while - but I'm tired of that now. All these dangerous cars and cold nights... not for me anymore!!! I now live inside a house at my foster mom's and I learned to use the litter box. Sometimes, I'm still a little scared by my new indoors environment, but I'm getting better and better. My foster mom says that I'm very sweet. *purrrr* I love to be petted, but preferably with a back scratcher. Yeah, I know that's a little odd, but it feels so good! Please give me a chance to show you what a great catI am and give me a forever home. Fifi"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fifi, a Yorba Linda Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Yorba Linda, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Yorba Linda.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yorba Linda already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yorba Linda breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yorba Linda paves the way for another one to be saved.
