Blue has only until this Saturday (8/20) to live.
A dog trainer was dumped with Blue by his ex-girlfriend, but he will only keep him until Saturday. Blue is beautifully trained, but he needs a foster person to keep his training current because if hes just boarded in a kennel, all his training will be out the window. He could be dog-aggressive but his trainer can make him sit and lay down, even if his target is in front of him. Blue stays in the position and remain in control. We saw it ourselves, and it was quite impressive!
Below is his description the trainer listed out. He is leaving town on Saturday, and he wont keep Blue past that day. His ex left Blue with him on July 4th, and none of his contacts would help him in the middle of them, and hell dump Blue in a pound or put him to death on Saturday.
If someone can foster him, Forte Animal Rescue will help his adoption. Blue is totally human-FRIENDLY. Just no dogs or cats in the household. That said, he was in a car with 7 other dogs, and though he was wearing a muzzle just in case, he was calm in the middle of them. So, hes not like a monster. Hes a young, sweet, strong dog who needs someone to continue caring for him.
Because hes so well-trained, he would make a great companion for someone who wants a handsome love-bug!

-He is dog friendly, but will escalate if a dog tries to dominate, so he needs additional training for dog aggression, (note: he is very trainable! He needs an owner that can take him through the training.
