Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Watson is a 3-year-old male Cairn Terrier mix who weighs about 15 lbs. He has been at the shelter since May and is looking for the right forever home. Watson is great with all people, but he's very selective about his doggie friends. Some dogs he likes and is just fine with, and others he growls at. Watson doesn't do well with a kennel mate at the shelter, so he is now in the back of the shelter in a kennel all by himself and you'll need to ask to meet him specifically. He's still a good dog, though, and would make a wonderful pet for someone with patience and understanding. He seems to be shy at first, but once he gets to know someone, he is a friendly little guy who will sit in your lap and loves to go out for walks. Watson knows "sit" and is very treat motivated -- he will do anything for a treat! He also likes to chill out and lay at your feet and get tummy rubs.
You can meet Watson at the County of San Diego Department of Animal Services at 5480 Gaines St. San Diego, CA 92110. Hours are 9:30-5:30 Tues-Sat (closed Sundays, Mondays and holidays). When you go to the shelter, you'll need to ask for Watson because he's in the back! If you can, ask for Johnny, Dean, or Noelle to help you! Bring these ID numbers to ask for him:
My ID number is A1414015,
my necktag number is C490, and
my kennel number is C115.
