Gizzy's Story...
Gizella... Gizzy for short is an an affectionate 1 1/2 old Marmalade and white tabby. When he showed up about 6 months ago he was very skinny. He kept trying to get into my house so I am sure he was and indoor cat before and was left behind to fend for himself which he wasnt doing to well at. I have had Gizzy vaccinated and neutered. I have $35 into him and would love to get that back as an adoption fee if I could. I would love him to find an indoor home before it gets much colder out.He is currently in Marion OH 740-751-4144 www.asaprescue.org ADOPTED 1-31-12 retired couple in fostoria

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gizzy, a Carey Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carey, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carey paves the way for another one to be saved.
