Tator with 5 puppies's Story...
This is Tator and her five babies. Tator was part of a very large family who has to reduce the size of their companion pets. Tator and her babies have been removed and is in foster care so she and the babies get the quiet special attention that is needed. She is a beagle mix who had five little babies on June 25, 2011. Tator was very reserved and at first frightened when removed from the pack that she was part of but, after some patience and TLC at the foster home (and quite a few hot dogs) - she now looks for opportunities to move into the house to share the sofa with the family pet and kids. But, being the good momma that she is - she returns quickly to care for her babies. If you are interested in meeting these wonderful dogs, may be interested in adopting one, or if you have any questions please send an email to infofchs@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tator with 5 puppies, a Metamora Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Metamora, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Metamora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Metamora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Metamora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Metamora paves the way for another one to be saved.
