Pickle's Story...
Pickle was left in a house with 2 other cats with no food for at least 1 week. We take that back--they had a can of green beans to eat. These cats were starved and dying of thirst. It is amazing to Purrfect Friends that this kind of activity goes on and these poor animals are helpless and held hostage to die a slow painful death. You would think these cats would then be mistrustful etc of people. Oh no, these cats are wonderful!!!! Pickles is thin and is going to be a big boy but just keeps rubbing your legs and eating. They eat and eat and eat. Pickle is just a young adult and has absolutely beautiful markings. He got along great with the other 2 cats he lived with - he is nervous---but has done extremely well. Pickles is shy and we are not sure how he would do around young children. He needs TLC and some extra attention. If you are interested in this angel, please email purrfectfriendsforadoption@gmail.com or purrfectfriends@bellsouth.net. If we do not answer we did not receive the email. They seem to float around cyberspace sometimes. Our # is 812-786-5800.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pickle, a Clarksville Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
