Jason's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jason's Story...
son was found as a stray just walking down the street all alone. He absolutely hates the cage and would do well in a quiet home without small children. He loves the company of adults but needs someone who will work with him and a trainer because he can be very territorial. The training is a must so please be ready to follow through. Jason seems to be housebroken and he's no more than 2 years old. If you think you can make a match with Jason, please call Bobbi at 718-845-0779 or 917-213-9840. For immediate consideration, please download our application from www.bobbicares.petfinder.org and email it to bobbicares2@aol.com. Thank you so much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jason, a Freeport Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
