TRUMPET's Story...
TRUMPET is a beautiful Royal Standard poodle who is 4 yrs old and weighs about 70 lbs. He is a wonderfully sweet, playful gentle giant. He is very quiet in the house but loves to go for long brisk walks and RUN in the yard! He is a slobbery drinker so he needs his water bowl somewhere 'waterproof'!!

Trumpet needs a good balance of peaceful relaxation and PLAY outside. He is starting to play with fuzzy toys and tennis ball! LOVES to RUN around the yard. Listens very well! Really needs another similar size/energy dog to romp and play with!!!

TRUMPET is currently fostered in HILLSBOROUGH county. To learn more about adopting him, check out his webpage at http://www.coastalpoodlerescue.org/poodles/poodledetail.cfm?DogID=1425

Can't adopt right now? Consider becoming a foster home for a rescue dog; it's temporary, but very fulfilling and your only cost is their food! Fill out a volunteer application from our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org

APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY FROM FULL/PART-TIME RESIDENTS OF FLORIDA AS A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED; NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN FLORIDA, PLEASE LOOK FOR RESCUE GROUPS IN YOUR HOME STATE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TRUMPET, a Melbourne Poodle (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard) for sale in Melbourne, or seeking a Poodle (Standard) dog from a breeder in Melbourne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Melbourne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Melbourne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Melbourne paves the way for another one to be saved.
